Construction Project
The transition from design to building for a multi-storey housing block — a construction document set resolved at the scale of structure, section and detail.
The project addressed how an architectural decision becomes a building: how is a multi-storey housing block resolved from the scale of design down to structure, section and detail? The study documents that transition step by step — through the load-bearing system, slab layers and 1/5–1/20 details.
The construction project addresses the transition from design to building for a multi-storey housing block. It is a documentation study showing how architectural decisions become buildable knowledge at the scale of structure, detail and material.
The reinforced-concrete skeleton is resolved through partial cutaway axonometrics, making the load-bearing system, slab layers and roof assembly visible. Stair, bathroom and façade details are worked at 1/5–1/20 scales, demonstrating constructional precision.
The system section defines floor heights and spatial relationships together with material annotations. The project underlines that design is not only form, but also the knowledge of how to build.
